New metal release from Tutl.
Tutl is proud to announce that on the 15th this month we will release Synarchy's debut album titled ”Scars Of Gratitude.” The music can be described as progressive melodic metal.
What was to become Synarchy was formed in early 2004, with John E. Láadal (guitar), Ísak Petersen (bass) and Martin Rói Villhelmsen (drums). Soon after, the trio grew into a sixtet with Andre Lenvig (guitar), Leon B. Hanson (vocals) and Bjartur F. Clementsen (keyboard) joining the band. After some rehersals Andre left but John Ivar Venned was quick to join in as guitarist. First show was December 4. same year. Following Prix FO 2005, several concerts around the country and the recording of their first demo, which will never see the light of day again.
Martin Rói then left the band, and Kim Joensen was asked to join on drums.
Synarchy then underwent a process of change which took some time. After the departure and rejoining of Kim Joensen, Synarchy developed new methods of writing their music, played some shows and finally recorded a demo in Winter 2006/07.
After a while John E. Láadal quit, and Jannik Gade was willing to help out as live guitarist. Pól Jespersen was asked to join on guitar and made the band a full six-piece again.
Synarchy recorded their first full-lenght album in Sensit Studios in Nólsoy, Faroe Islands.
With this album the members plan to promote their material and play as many shows as possible, preferably abroad.
