Høgni Lisberg
After hiding behind a drum kit for many years, 21 year old Høgni Lisberg from the Faroe Islands has taken a few steps up the stage, and has picked up the guitar and placed himself in front of the microphone. Høgni Lisberg is best known as the drummer of the Faroese band Clickhaze, fronted by Eivør Pálsdóttir, which made quite an impact of the Nordic music scene. His first cd: “Most Beautiful Things”, released December 2003, was mixed at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios, England, by Ben Findlay. The album was recorded at an abandonded Cinema on the wind-blown islands in the Nordic chill by (Clickhaze bass player) Jens L. Thomsen. Høgni sings and plays most of the instruments. The music is intense and beautiful singer/songwriter pop with elements of rock/folk
